Photoshop Express Training (and other announcements)

As I was writing my Photoshop Express post a few moments ago, I was thinking…maybe I should work on some instructional screencasts over the next few days to help new users out…

Well, maybe I still will, but, of course, the folks over at Kelby Training (of the Scott Kelby’s) beat me to it. And I mean, really beat me too it! They have a pretty impressive array of videos at photoshopexpresstechniques.com. Go check it out.

The other cool thing that I discovered is that Adobe plans to release an AIR version of Photoshop Express to allow for offline use and printing of images. Adobe AIR is a platform that allows internet programs to run on your computer without a full-time internet connection. It’s actually much more than that…I just couldn’t think of a more intelligent way to put it.

I guess that is the advantage the Kelby folks get for being known in the Photoshop arena, early access with Alpha or early Beta testing so they are familiar with the product from day one.

Sure enough. Oh well, I can’t complain. They seem to do a great job, and, from what I could tell, this Photoshop Express stuff is free.
